Archiving Policy

Introduction

The INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF APPLIED MANAGEMENT, FINANCE AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (IJAMFSS) is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility and preservation of its published scholarship. This Archiving Policy outlines the procedures for depositing and maintaining the journal's articles in a permanent digital archive.

Archiving Partner

IJAMFSS partners with a reputable digital archiving service, such as PubMed Central (PMC), LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keeps Stuff Safe), or CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS), to ensure the long-term availability of the journal's content.

Deposit Process

  • Upon acceptance for publication, authors will be asked to grant IJAMFSS permission to deposit the final, published version of their article (including the Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM)) in the designated archive.
  • IJAMFSS will prepare the article for deposit according to the archive's specifications, including metadata formatting.
  • The deposited article will be clearly identified with the journal title, volume, issue, and publication date.

Author Self-Archiving

In addition to the journal-led archiving, authors are encouraged to self-archive their accepted manuscripts in their institutional repository or on their personal website. Authors should follow the archiving guidelines set forth by their institution or funding agency, while ensuring compliance with IJAMFSS's copyright policy.

Benefits of Archiving

  • Long-term Accessibility: Archiving ensures that published articles are available for future generations of researchers and readers, even in the event of website closures or format obsolescence.
  • Increased Visibility: Archiving platforms can increase the discoverability of published articles through indexing and search engine optimization.
  • Preservation: Archiving safeguards against data loss or corruption, ensuring the integrity of the scholarly record.

Commitment to Open Access

IJAMFSS is committed to promoting open access to scholarly research. The archiving of published articles aligns with this commitment by making research findings more widely available to the global research community.

Review and Updates

This Archiving Policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as needed to reflect best practices and technological advancements in digital archiving.
