Refund Policy

IJAMFSS is committed to providing a fair and transparent publication process for all authors. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which authors may be eligible for a refund of article processing charges (APCs).

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds will be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Withdrawal before Submission: A full refund will be issued if an author withdraws their manuscript before it is submitted to the journal for review.
  • Editorial Rejection Due to Journal Scope: If a manuscript is rejected during the initial editorial screening because it falls outside the journal's scope, a full refund will be issued.
  • Administrative Error: In the rare case of an administrative error on the part of IJAMFSS, a full refund will be issued.

2. Ineligibility for Refunds

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Withdrawal After Submission: Once a manuscript has been submitted for peer review, the APC is non-refundable. This covers the administrative costs associated with processing the manuscript, regardless of the review outcome.
  • Rejection Due to Quality Issues: If a manuscript is rejected during peer review due to quality issues such as insufficient originality, methodological flaws, or poor writing, the APC is non-refundable. The peer review process incurs costs regardless of the outcome.
  • Author Error: If a manuscript is withdrawn or rejected due to an author's error, such as failing to follow submission guidelines or plagiarism, the APC is non-refundable.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, authors should submit a written request to the IJAMFSS editorial office, clearly stating the reason for the refund request. The editorial office will review the request and notify the author of the decision within 10 business days.
